Arunga, Sword Thane of the Grey Wolf tribe. She leads her barbarian people on raids south, in war against the goblins, and in peace times, as spiritual guide as her folk hunt the frozen wastes for game. She is as wise to her allies as she is frightful to her enemy.
Red Wolf is younger sister to the sword thane Arunga. Not born with her sister’s gifts for divination, Red Wolf took after their father and became a tracker. She learnt patience, stealth and to enjoy a life of solitude. Not for Red Wolf the pressure of leadership. She has left that to her elder sister. So she glides amongst the barren lands, seeking sign of game and invaders. She can move as silently through the high snowy plains of her home as she can silently strike at an enemy. And her silent axe strikes with true devastation.
Mungo is a great warrior, hard and fast. He fights naked in a powerful fury, swinging his great sword in arcs that cleave the heads from all who dare face his wrath. Now if only they could get him to wear clothes at home...
Gretch is a hunter, happier on the trail of great hairy beasts than in war. But she may yet prove her worth.
